Approval of the Finance & Audit Committee Minutes of November 7, 2017.

The Finance Department business is submitted to request approval and ratification by the Board for various warrants and disbursements in order to meet the requirements of Ch. 136.06 (1), Fl Statute. Acceptance and disposal of various Board property and various documents are submitted for the Board's information. At times, approval is requested for various finance related issues.
8.Re-Approval of the Eighteenth Renewal to Kronos Inc. Agreement No. 99/00-35
Re-Approval of the Eighteenth Renewal Agreement with Kronos Incorporated, in the amount of $7,028.46.  Further approval of sole source and advance payment is required.  This renewal was previously approved at the Sept. 12, 2017 Board meeting, however minor changes have been made to the Agreement, requiring re-approval.  Funding Source: 001-2103-546100

10.Henley Road Drainage Easement to Farm Bureau
Clay County Farm Bureau, Inc. has requested to use the County's stormwater management facility (pond) on Henley Road (which is adjacent to its property) to discharge the runoff from their proposed building and parking lot. In exchange, Farm Bureau will assume the routine maintenance of the pond. See attached documentation for further information.
11.Contingency Transfer for Disaster Recovery in FY 16-17 - Hurricane Irma
Approval to transfer from General Fund contingency funds in the amount of $1,000,000.00 to cover unanticipated costs of disaster recovery measures caused from Hurricane Irma. Funding Source: 001-9900-599100 (General Fund Reserve for Contingency) (C. Meng)
12.Statement of Voluntary Participation - Flood Mitigation Asst Grant - Austin
Approval of the Statement of Participation between Clay County and Maria C. Austin, regarding the submission of the Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant Application for 2990 Black Creek Drive, Middleburg, Florida. Funding Source: Not Applicable (L. Mock)

13.4:00 TIME CERTAIN or as soon thereafter as may be heard: Public Hearing on the Adoption of an Ordinance Amending Clay County Ordinance 93-6, which is codified as Article II of Chapter 15.5 of the Clay County Code, relating to the Clay County Sheriff's Office Career Service
The Clay County Sheriff's Office has requested certain revisions to Article II which are set forth in the attached proposed Ordinance. A representative from the Sheriff's Office plans to attend the Board meeting to discuss the requested revisions. See attached documentation.
