The Finance Department business is submitted to request approval and ratification by the Board for various warrants and disbursements in order to meet the requirements of Ch. 136.06 (1), Fl Statute. Acceptance and disposal of various Board property and various documents are submitted for the Board's information. At times, approval is requested for various finance related issues.

8.Washington Ave ROW Closure Petition
Applicant has requested closure of a portion of Washington Ave. ROW.  This request requires the Board to hold a public hearing on the closure petition.  Approval of a Resolution setting the public hearing for June 25, 2019 is requested.
9.Divisional Transfer - Courthouse Naming
Approval of transfer between divisions of the State Court/Local Requirements Fund (134) in the amount of $3,500.00 for the new wording/naming of the Courthouse. Funds are to be transferred from Drug Court Division to Courthouse Naming Division. Funding Source: 134-1067-531000 (State Court/Local Req Fund - Drug Court - Professional Svcs)
10.Irma Substantial Damage Discussion
Following Hurricane Irma, County staff has been working to ensure all substantially damaged properties are complying with County/State and Federal Regulations pertaining to Building Code, Flood Plain Management and FEMA . After multiple attempts for compliance, staff needs direction on how to handle those who are not compliant.
11.Acceptance of Out of County Solid Waste Discussion
Discussion regarding acceptance of out-of-county waste at the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility.

The proposed amendments to Articles I, III and V of the Land Development Code include Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) based changes, Comprehensive Plan Amendments not previously incorporated and general corrections for syntax, grammar, clerical error and numbering. This document is available for review in the Planning Division.

Julia Cramer will not be seeking reappointment to her At-Large seat on the Historic Preservation Board at the end of her term on July 1, 2019.  Ms. Cramer has held her seat on the Board since 2013 and will seek reappointment at a later date.
18.Discussion of Appointments to the Clay County Historic Preservation Board

Applications were received from Jennifer Eason and Melissa Clearman, both from District 1, for consideration of appointment to the Clay County Historic Preservation Board.  Currently there are two At-Large vacancies which allow for both applicants to be appointed as a District 1 representative.
