The Finance Department business is submitted to request approval and ratification by the Board for various warrants and disbursements in order to meet the requirements of Ch. 136.06 (1), Fl Statute. Acceptance and disposal of various Board property and various documents are submitted for the Board's information. At times, approval is requested for various finance related issues.

6.Consideration of Initial Assessment Resolution for Clay County Stormwater Maintenance Municipal Services Benefit Unit
Presentation of Initial Resolution to set the Stormwater MSBU rate and provide directions for preparation of assessment roll and notice prior to the final assessment hearing.
7.Irma Substantial Damage Update

Following Hurricane Irma, County staff has been working to ensure all substantially damaged properties are complying with County/State and Federal Regulations pertaining to Building Code, Flood Plain Management and FEMA . After multiple attempts for compliance, staff needs direction on how to handle those who are not compliant.

At its May 28, 2019 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners voted to raise impact fees and repeal transportation concurrency.  Changes to the Objectives and Policies of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan are necessary in order to repeal concurrency.

The proposed amendments to Articles I, III and V of the Land Development Code include Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) based changes, Comprehensive Plan Amendments not previously incorporated and general corrections for syntax, grammar, clerical error and numbering.  This document is available for review in the Planning Division.
