VIDEO1.FY 19/20 CCSO Request for Grant Applications

Approval for the Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) to apply for grant funding for FY 2019/2020 from Federal, State and Local entities. If awarded, funds are intended to support salaries, equipment purchases, and other various costs to the agency. Details to each of these grants can be found in the Background information. VIDEO2.2018 Federal Elections Security Grant Application

Approval for the Supervisor of Elections Office (SOE) to proceed with the application for the 2018 Federal Election Security Grant in the amount of $29,319.00. This grant is a reimbursement grant and does not require matching County funds. The intent of these funds used in Clay County will be to offset the costs for software upgrades and additional election machines. (C. Chambless / Holly DePaul)

VIDEO7.Bid #18/19-28, EMS Medical Supplies
Approval to post notice of intent and award Bid #18/19-28, EMS Medical Supplies, to multiple vendors based on a per item cost and availability as outlined on the attached spreadsheet. This includes approval to purchase RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) items when in the County's best interest. Due to critical shortages of medication and medical supplies that still exists, further request a continuation of the Purchasing Policy waiver for procurement of these items  (the need is further explained in the attached memorandum). Both approvals will allow staff the flexibility to purchase from other vendors based on price and availability. Approval of First Amendment to Clay County Lease Agreement #16/17-98 with Clay County Soccer Club, Inc., adding the terms and conditions necessary when the facilities are being used by the Supervisor of Elections as a voting precinct. There is no financial impact with this amendment. (C. Grimm)

VIDEO9.Household Hazardous Waste Buildings Agreement
Approval of the Household Hazardous Waste Buildings Agreement with MCC Development, Inc., for a term of 100 days, at the total cost of $233,900.00. Further approval of advance payment in the amount of $116,950.00 (50%). Funding Source: 401-3802-562000 (Solid Waste Fund / Environmental Services / Buildings)
