BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On July 11, 2008 the Clay County SHIP Program made a mortgage to Michael and Angela Klatte in the amount of $15,000.00.  This is a due on sale mortgage.  Mr. and Mrs. Klatte have defaulted on their first mortgage.  On May 10, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved their request for the County to accept the amount of $1,500.00 as payment in full to allow them to dispose of their home in a "short sale" arrangement.  The closing on the home has taken place and the County has received the sum of $1,500.00 as payment in full to satisfy their mortgage.
