As requested by the Finance & Audit Committee, five minute presentations will be provided in alphabetical order by the top three ranked firms for RFQ #16/17-34, Continuing General Engineering Consulting Services for Planning and Design Services. The RFQ will be awarded to two firms for these consulting services for a two year term.

1.  Eisman & Russo, Inc. = 96.67

2.  England Thims & Miller, Inc. = 98.67

3.  Wantman Group, Inc. = 93.33

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Approval to accept staff's ranking of RFQ #16/17-34, Continuing General Engineering Consulting Services for Planning and Design Services and direct staff to proceed with contract negotiations with the number one ranked firm, England Thims & Miller, Inc. and the number two ranked firm, Eisman & Russo, Inc. for a two year term.

1.  England Thims & Miller, Inc. = 98.67

2.  Eisman & Russo, Inc. = 96.67

3.  Wantman Group, Inc. = 93.33

4.  Prosser = 79.67

5.  Causseaux, Hewett & Walpole, Inc. = 71

6.  The RAM Professional Group, Inc. = 67.33

7.  CPH, Inc. = 66

8.  Amec Foster Wheeler = 65.67

9.  Michael Baker International, Inc. = 63.67

A committee consisting of the Engineering/Public Works Director, Deputy Director Technical Services, and Engineering Project Manager performed the evaluation and ranking.  If desired, the Board may request presentations by no fewer than the top three firms.

 

This RFQ provides for a variety of public works projects involving planning and delivery of transportation and drainage facilities and services.  These required services vary and include, but are not limited to, engineering (multidiscipline), landscape architectural, land surveying, real estate and rights-of-way appraisal, acquisition, and sale, and land planning and development, project management, transportation planning, transportation financial planning, planning studies for possible highway, bridge and drainage projects, support to the County, including design reviews during project design by other consultants, project budget and schedule management and reporting and related services.
