| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | The Stoneridge Farms site is located in the Lake Asbury Master Plan area along the northeast side of C.R. 209 and northwest of C.R. 209-B, north of its intersection with Sandridge Road. The owner, Stoneridge Farms f/k/a Solite, Inc., made lightweight clay aggregate for use in lightweight concrete. As a result, there is contamination on a portion of the site, which is subject of a Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) consent order. Existing LA Policy 2.9 and the Lake Asbury Land Development Regulations state that the BCC shall consider a density bonus of up to 3 units per net acre as long as adequate provisions are made to remediate the site. The applicant is requesting an agreement, which is accompanied by a land use amendment and text amendment to effectuate that bonus. |
