SUBJECT: The proposed 2040 Comprehensive Plan includes the policy revisions as proposed in the 2025 Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR), changes to address reviewing agency comments and other minor changes identified after transmittal of the EAR.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
In October 2017, the BCC approved the transmittal of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) which was prepared in accordance with Florida Statute 163.3191.  Review by the Department of Economic Opportunity and reviewing agencies resulted in two comments: to include a future transportation map series and to include updated CIP tables.  Both items have been addressed in the proposed 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
