| DATE: 6/20/2018 | | | | | FROM: Administrative and Contractual Services | | | | | SUBJECT: Approval of the updated State Infrastructure Grant Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), which sets forth terms and conditions under which the State will provide financial assistance to Clay County, in an amount not to exceed $2,065,000.00, for capital and eligible related costs for the Atlantis Drive roadway project. | | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | | Clay County has been approved to receive funding from the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund for public infrastructure. This is for the construction of Atlantis Drive (a proposed 1/2 mile segment of roadway), which will extend east from Trail Ridge Road and Challenger Drive. The Agreement is effective until the earlier of: i) December 31, 2034, ii) the date on which this Agreement is terminated, or iii) upon project completion, which is defined as the fifth anniversary of the effective date of this Agreement. |
