| DATE: | | | FROM: Sheriff's Office | | | | SUBJECT: Following Hurricane Irma, Florida Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated funds to the State of Florida for the local governments through the Local Mitigation Strategy Work Groups (LMS). The Clay County Sheriff's Office has identified 6 projects and is requesting approval to submit the attached applications to FEMA for funding. A 25% match will be required for each project that is funded.

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | One project (Sheriff's Office Orange Park Substation Roof) was approved and included on the LMS report previously presented to the Board. An additional 5 applications are being submitted for consideration should funding be available. If applications are approved, FEMA will require a 25% match to the total cost. A project list is attached that includes a description of the project and estimated cost. |
