After review of our fee schedule with much discussion and research, staff is asking for an adjustment to the current fee schedule. You will notice in Appendix A that we have decreased some of the commercial permit fees (orange highlighted areas) and increased a couple of the residential permit fees (green highlighted areas). This adjustment will allow for more accurate and competitive fees for our area. It is especially important that the County is competitive in the commercial arena as we are looking to increase commercial activity within the county.

In addition, a notice of commencement fee has been added to the fee schedule (blue highlighted area of Appendix A). As the Department will now be able to offer to our customers a more convenient One-Stop shop, this new fee is necessary.
