BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The C.R. 220 Widening Project is currently 60% complete.  Due to the growth rate in the area, a study was performed for traffic impact at the C.R. 220 intersection at Henley Road.  This study has determined that even with the planned improvements to the intersection, year 2040 growth rate projections classifies this intersection as an “F” rated for capacity.

FDOT has presented a concept and traffic model to maintain a “B” rating for the 2040 projections called a Quadrant Roadway Intersection.
