SUBJECT: The Division of Emergency Management is requesting the Board’s permission to proceed with the completion of an estimated 60 Flood Mitigation and Assistance (FMA) Grants which will be written to seek federal funding assistance for home elevations and acquisition and demolition projects for survivors of Hurricane IRMA.  These individuals and families experienced severe impacts to their homes as a result of flooding associated with this storm and require assistance in order to recover and mitigate their properties.
