Approval to accept staff's ranking of RFQ #18/19-4, Engineering Consulting Services for Design of C.R. 315C Shoulder Improvements from Putnam County Line to C. R. 214 and award to the number one ranked firm, England - Thims & Miller, Inc.  Approval will be effective after 72 hour period for protest has expired.

1.  England - Thims & Miller, Inc. = 87

2.  Connelly & Wicker, Inc. = 82.33

3.  Wantman Group, Inc. = 78.67

4.  A E Engineering, Inc. = 42.33

A committee consisting of the Engineering & Public Works Director, Deputy Director Technical Services, and Engineering Project Manager has  performed the evaluation and ranking.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Services provide design of the C.R. 315C Shoulder improvements from Putnam County Line to CR 214, modify all driveways that do not meet current standards, bring all lane widths up to standards, evaluate existing roadway cross-slope and centerline striping, and preparation of a complete set of construction documents for the project. RFQ was sent to 77 companies with 4 responses.    Reminder, location had to be removed from the evaluation criteria as this is a State funded project which does not allow for location.
