Changes to the Objectives and Policies of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan are necessary in order to repeal concurrency.

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | Subsection 163.3180(1), Florida Statutes, no longer requires transportation to be subject to statewide concurrency requirements. Paragraph 163.3180(5)(i), Florida Statutes, states that if a local government elects to repeal transportation concurrency, it is encouraged to adopt an alternative mobility funding system. |
