SUBJECT: The applicant is proposing to amend the Future Land Use Map to change 1263 acres south of SR 16 from Commercial and Agriculture to Mixed Use and Urban Fringe.  This public hearing is to consider transmittal of that proposed amendment to the State and reviewing agencies for State Coordinated Review

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The subject property is located in the County's Urban Service Area.  This application proposes to amend the FLUM to Mixed Use and Urban Fringe  and adopt new FLA Policy 1.10.7 with development limits of 1,000 multi-family dwelling units, 3,000 single family dwelling units, and 400,000 sf of commercial development.
