BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Purchase of an Ion Mobility Spectrometer, model MX908-C, is being made through a State of Florida Division of Emergency Management grant.  This is a hand-held high pressure mass spec chemical detection system used for the detection of chemical warfare agents, illicit drugs, chemical hazards, and explosives in liquid, solid, or vapor form.  908 Devices is the manufacturer of the Ion Mobility Spectrometer and the only authorized point of service, support and maintenance for the device and associated components.   Purchase includes a chemical training kit, one (1) year warranty and support, and one (1) on-site training class.
