A)  Approval of the First Amendment to Agreement No. 2021/2022-182 with Mercy Support Services, Inc. as the Sponsor/Developer for the Homeless Stabilization Program Strategy for the County's SHIP Program, increasing the grant funding for years two and three of the Agreement from $100,000.00 per year to $300,000.00 per year.   

B)  Additional approval of advanced payment is requested.

RFQ No. 21/22-41 (Sponsor/Developer for Homeless Stabilization) was awarded to Mercy Support Services Inc. under the Clay County SHIP Program up to $100,000.00 per year under the original agreement.  The Homeless Stabilization Program assists families and individuals in gaining and maintaining stable rental housing. The program targets Eviction Prevention and Rapid Rehousing, focusing on Clay County residents who are at imminent risk of becoming, or who are already homeless.  The Clay County SHIP Program is experiencing a significant increase in applicants seeking these services.  As a result, SHIP Staff is requesting an additional $200,000.00 per year for years two and three of the agreement, increasing the three year total from $300,000.00 to $700,000.00.
