SUBJECT:

Approval to reject the bid received from GRSC, Inc. for Bid No. 23/24-005, Installation of Irrigation Components and Sod at Neptune Sports Complex. The one bid received is over budget. Staff will immediately re-advertise the bid in an attempt to receive more competitive bid submittals.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The County requested bids from qualified Florida licensed Contractors to install new irrigation components and sod for a new multi-purpose field at Neptune Sports Complex.  The one bid received was over budget.  Certain line items on the pricing proposal were extremely high and unbalanced.  Staff is prepared to re-advertise the bid immediately.
