Approval to post Notice of Intent to Award Bid No. 23/34-038, Inspections, Maintenance, and Repair of Fire Suppression Equipment to Cintas Corporation No. 2 at the unit costs provided in the Bid submittal.  Approval of award will be effective after the 72-hour protest period has expired.

The County requested Bids from qualified Contactors for inspections, maintenance, testing, and repairs on fire suppression equipment located at various County facilities. This equipment includes: fire extinguishers, fire sprinkler systems, range hoods, and Heptafluoropropane (FM 200) fire suppression systems.  Current provider of these services is Summit Fire & Security however Cintas Corp. has also provided these services in previous years.

Pursuant to Chapter 5, Section C, of the Purchasing Policy, the County Manager is authorized to approve and execute the Agreement on behalf of the Board following Board approval of the award. The term of the agreement will be for three (3) years from the effective date of the agreement.
