AGENDA ITEM TYPE:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The purpose of the RFQ was to solicit qualifications from professional engineering firms for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services from which are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the CR 220 Widening Phase 1 Project; which widens CR 220 from a 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane urban roadway including intersection improvements at County Road 220 and Henley Road. This project is funded by both the County and FDOT. The project also includes CCUA work.  The Consultants were evaluated and ranked based on a maximum of 91 points as location and diversity was not included in the evaluation as these are not allowed when FDOT funds are involved.
