Approval to accept Staff's ranking and selection of the top ranked Consultant for RFQ No. 23/24-053, Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for CR 220 Widening Phase 2. Approval of award will be effective after the 72 hour protest period has expired.

A committee consisting of Deputy Director of Engineering, Public Works Director, and Building Division Director performed the evaluation and ranking of the responses received. The Consultants were evaluated and ranked based on a maximum of 91 points. If desired, the Board may request presentation from the Firms. Agreement will be negotiated and brough back to the Board for approval.

Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Projects Fund - Capital Improvement Element - CR220 Henley Road to Knight Boxx - Infrastructure 

The purpose of the RFQ was to solicit qualifications from professional engineering firms for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services from which are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the CR 220 Widening Phase 2 Project which includes widening County Road 220 from existing 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane urban roadway from east of Henley Road to west of Knight Boxx Road including bridge work.  This is a joint project with FDOT. 

The Consultants were evaluated and ranked based on a maximum of 91 points as location and diversity was not included in the evaluation as these are not allowed when FDOT funds are involved.
