A committee consisting of the Risk Manager, Building Director and Parks Resource Manager performed the evaluation and ranking of the Proposals received. If desired, the Board may request presentations from the Consultants.  An agreement will be brought back to the Board for approval. 

The County requested Proposals from qualified Consultants to perform a thorough Countywide ADA audit, with the objective of conducting a comprehensive evaluation of all County-owned buildings, properties, and public spaces to ensure adherence to ADA standards. This initiative is essential to identify and address barriers that may hinder access for individuals with disabilities, ensuring compliance with federal ADA standards. By conducting this audit, the County aims to promote inclusivity, prioritize necessary improvements, and reaffirm its commitment to providing equitable access to County services and facilities for all residents and visitors. The initial audit shall be completed by September 30, 2024. Full proposals are attached and are available in the Purchasing Department for review.
