| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | The parcel is located between State Road 16 W and Kingsley Lake. The parcel is located in AR-2 zoning district with a future land use designation of Rural Residential. The parcel is part of the J.M Edwards Subdivision as shown on Plat thereof recorded in 1949. Information from Clay Property Appraiser indicates the house was built in 1968 prior to the adoption of zoning in the County.
The applicant wishes to construct a gabled entry on the south side of the existing house. The location of the existing residential unit on the lot would require the new covered entrance to encroach into the required 10 side setback by 3 feet. The County is in receipt of an email from the neighbor indicating no issue with the reduction of the side setback for the purpose of the gabled side entrance. |
