Approval to post Notice of Intent to Award Bid No.23/24-082, Fleming Island Library HVAC Replacement to Carroll Mechanical and Plumbing, Inc. in the amount of $327,700.00. Approval of award will be effective after the 72-hour protest period has expired. All work is to be completed by September 30, 2024.

The County requested Bids from licensed Contractors to replace seven (7) split systems with seven (7) condenser units and install seven (7) new Carrier Heat Pump Split System that meet the original design and performance of the existing Air Handler Units (AHU) #7, #8a, #8b, #9, #10a/b, #11a/b, and #12 located at the Fleming Island Library. The existing Duct work for HVAC Units shall be retained.
