Approval to post Notice of Intent to Award Bid No. 23/24-042, CR 220 Widening Phase 1 to Kirby Development, Inc. in the amount of $11,753,640.68.  Approval of award will be effective after the 72-hour protest period has expired.

The County requested bids to perform the widening County Road 220 from existing 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane urban roadway from Hollars Place to the West RW of Henley Road and West of CR 739 (Henley Rd) to Chief Ridaught Trail and the intersection improvements at County Road 220 and Henley Road for the construction project listed below. Substantial Completion shall be accomplished within 400 days from the effective date of the awarded agreement and Final Completion shall be accomplished within 445 days from the effective date of the awarded agreement. 

CR 220 Widening Phase 1 is funded by both the County and FDOT.  The project also includes some CCUA work.  

Part A: Hollars Place to the West RW of Henley Road 

Part B: West RW of Henley Road to Chief Ridaught Trail
