The Plaintiff in this case, Bridgette Adams, was involved in an automobile accident on May 1, 2022, which also involved a County vehicle driven by a County employee. Ms. Adams alleges that she sustained injuries and that "The losses are either permanent or continuing and Plaintiff will suffer the losses in the future."

A Mediation Conference has been set in the case for August 22, 2024, and legal counsel for Clay County (assigned by the County's insurance carrier) is requesting a private meeting to be scheduled for the Board's August 13th meeting in order to obtain the Board's advice in the matter. Counsel's request letter is attached as backup to this item.
