Approval to post Notice of Intent to Award Bid No. 23/24-110, Positive Pressure Ventilation Fans to Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC in the amount of $85,613.87.  Approval of award will be effective after the 72-hour protest period has expired.  Delivery date shall be by September 15, 2024.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The County requested Bids from qualified Suppliers capable of providing:

(17) Positive Pressure Ventilation fans (in compliance with NFPA standards) SuperVac model # V18-BL-SP. Each fan shall include (2) M18/HD12 batteries, A/C chargers, Shore power cords; and (34) M18/HD12 batteries. Shipping and Handling is included in the price of items.

A fan will go on each front-line engine and will be used at doorways of homes/buildings to help with ventilation after a fire.
