| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | Challenge Enterprises pickup, handle, and store commodities in dry and cool warehouse space and then prepackage and provide delivery on a monthly schedule to approximately six locations in the County for income eligible individuals to receive additional groceries. Challenge Enterprises hires individuals with disabilities to assist with these services and has provided these services for the County for many years. The cost of services has increased from last fiscal year ($50,922.48), but the amount the County agrees to reimburse Challenge Enterprises for maintenance and/or services for their coolers remains the same (up to a maximum of $5,000.00). The County will pay $5,012.58 monthly upon receipt of a written monthly invoice and documentation describing the services provided. |
