Approval of Addendum No. 44 to Agreement No. 1992/1993-171 with Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. for Rosemary Hill landfill permit compliance services during FY 24/25, in the maximum amount of $187,000.00.

Compliance services related to specific Florida Department of Environmental Protection permits listed in the work scope associated with Rosemary Hill.  This amendment to extend for an additional year is recommended for permit compliance services.  Services include, but are not limited to, landfill inspections, data management, landfill gas monitoring, annual financial assurance cost estimates, long-term care plan update, SWMF's NPDES compliance, leachate system assistance, permit renewals and/or permit modifications, solid waste consulting assistance, and other environmental or solid waste services as deemed necessary by the County. 

The maximum compensation increased from $158,500.00 for FY 23/24 to $187,000.00 for FY 24/25 due to additional tasks (Leachate valve repairs and gas and groundwater monitoring, repair of wells and maintenance) as well as a 2.9% hourly rate increase. Staff has reviewed the increase, and such are found to be in line with the annual CPI adjustment for this year.
