The companies listed currently hold franchise agreements with the County, all of which will expire on September 30, 2024. 

Clay County Ordinance 90-24, Article III, known as the Solid Waste Franchising and Collection Ordinance, regulates the collection and disposal of solid waste within the unincorporated area of the County. All Franchise Agreements provide the requirement that the Franchisee will pay the County a 14% Franchise Fee of the Franchisees' gross receipts, which includes the Franchise Fee, for Container Service in its Franchised District, and can be up to a five-year term. These companies currently hold franchise agreements with the County, all of which will expire on September 30, 2024.
