Approval of the Public Emergency Medical Transportation Letter of Agreement with the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, regarding the remittance of Intergovernmental Transfers (IGTs) funds in an amount not to exceed $561,449.93.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This letter of agreement is for the State FY24/25 Public Emergency Medical Transportation Program. The County will remit payment to the State in an amount not to exceed $561,449.93, due by 10/31/24, covering the period of 7/1/24 through 6/30/25. Funds are paid into a pool and in turn, the County is able to recoup a larger percentage of Medicaid funds to offset the cost of the service. The recouped funds are used for the Public Medical Transportation Program.
