Approval of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) regarding the assignment of a full-time deputy sheriff for inmate work crew supervision, for the term of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, in the total estimated funding amount of $76,027.89, pending approval of the FY25/26 budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This MOA covers the assignment of a full-time deputy sheriff who will supervise inmate work crews assisting public works with litter collection or upkeep on county roadways and property.  This amount has increased from last fiscal year due to the starting hourly rate of a full-time deputy increasing from $19.73 per hour to $25.60 per hour.
