RLF Wisteria Properties LLC is requesting to expand an existing borrow pit commonly referred to as Wisteria Pit. The total site is 407 acres and the current permitted pit is approximately 102.7 acres. The applicant is requesting to expand by 100.95 acres which would exceed the 25% allowed under the conditional use section of the code for borrow pits. Article III Section 3-5(1)(3) allows for the 25% to be expanded to no more than 50% of the area if approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
