SUBJECT:

Approval of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Contract for roof replacement of the Clay County Sheriff's Office's (CCSO) Orange Park Substation at 212 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, Florida. The project will be funded on the condition that the CCSO also purchases storm shutters for each opening of the building. Based on quotes received, the project was estimated to cost $471,025, with a Federal Share of 75% ($353,268.75) and a Local Share of 25% ($117,756.25). However, because the project will have to go out for RFP, the total cost is subject to change. (E. Gann/R. Wright)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Board approval to apply for six (6) HMGP applications occurred on July 24, 2018. Applications were submitted by the CCSO on August of 2018. The HMGP award for roof replacement of the CCSO's Orange Park Substation has occurred and contract has been received.
