SUBJECT: Approval of the Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement No. G0124 with the Florida Division of Emergency Management, regarding the COVID-19 Supplement and ratification of the Memorandum acknowledging receipt and understanding of Agreement G0124. The term of the Agreement is 4/27/2020 to 6/30/2021, with a total reimbursable grant amount of $15,844.46 and required local match of 50%. Funding Sources: 001-001-331507 (General Fund Revenue/EMPG-S, COVID-19) and 001-9900-599100 (General Fund Reserves for Contingency)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This Agreement supports planning and operational readiness for COVID-19 preparedness and response. This Agreement was previously approved by the Board on 6/9/2020.  However FDEM has inserted new rule changes, etc. which we feel requires re-approval by the Board. This Agreement also included a Memorandum Acknowledging receipt and understanding, which has been executed by the County Manager as it must be returned to FDEM prior to the Board meeting of 6/23/2020.  Hence, ratification of said Memorandum is requested  as part of the suggested action.
