BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The applicant is requesting to add a 55,000 s.f. grocery store with pharmacy and a 2,900 s.f. donut or coffee shop as permitted uses within the Branan Field Rural Neighborhood Center land use and to eliminate the 6 acre maximum retail acreage requirement.  The Board voted to continue this item to this meeting.  The applicant has been working with staff to address the Planning Commission's concerns.  As a result, the applicant is proposing to amend the proposed change to reduce the size of the grocery store to up to 52,000 s.f. and changes the maximum area of retail from six acres to seven acres.
