SUBJECT:

Approval to accept staff's ranking of RFP #19/20-54, Air Purification System and Components for EMS Facilities & Vehicles and award to the number one ranked company, Comfort Temp Company, for the County’s Emergency Medical Service (EMS) buildings portion of the bid only, at a cost of $29,667.00. Staff recommends selecting an alternate route for the purchase of the mobile units for EMS vehicles as neither vendor provided an adequate solution for the vehicles. Approval will be effective after 72 hour period for protest has expired.

1. Comfort Temp Company = 65.67

2. Bill Williams Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc = 43.67

 

A Committee consisting of the Facilities Project Manager, Battalion Chief/Logistics, and the Building Director has performed the evaluation and ranking.
