Approval to accept staff's ranking of RFP #19/20-53, Air Purification System for Clay County Facilities HVAC and award to the number one ranked firm, Bill Williams Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. at a cost of $500,077.00. The lowest ranked proposal failed to provide a solution as requested in the specifications.  Approval will be effective after 72 hour period for protest has expired.

1.  Bill Williams Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. = 37.67

2.  Comfort Temp Company = 33.33

 

A committee consisting of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Director, Building Maintenance Coordinator, and Battalion Chief/Logistics has performed the evaluation and ranking.

VIDEO19.RFP #19/20-54, Air Purification System and Components for EMS Facilities & Vehicles

Approval to accept staff's ranking of RFP #19/20-54, Air Purification System and Components for EMS Facilities & Vehicles and award to the number one ranked company, Comfort Temp Company, for the County’s Emergency Medical Service (EMS) buildings portion of the bid only, at a cost of $29,667.00. Staff recommends selecting an alternate route for the purchase of the mobile units for EMS vehicles as neither vendor provided an adequate solution for the vehicles. Approval will be effective after 72 hour period for protest has expired.

2. Bill Williams Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc = 43.67
