Approval of the FY2021/2022 Memorandum of Agreement with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, regarding the upkeep of County owned properties via inmate work crew, for the term of 10/1/2021 through 9/30/2022, in the amount of $55,473.00. Additional approval of budget transfers to allocate the appropriate budget for same. Funding Source: 102-4106-Various

Approval of the FY2021/2022 Memorandum of Agreement with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, for security services at the Clay County Administration Building, for the term of 10/1/2021 through 9/30/2022, in the amount of $55,473.00. VIDEO3.Notice of Intent and Award of RFQ No. 20/21-65, Professional Design Services for Co-located Communications Center (K. Smith / D. Motes)

Approval to post notice of intent and award RFQ No. 20/21-65 Professional Design Services for Co-located Communications Center to Architects Design Group and authorize staff to begin negotiations. Approval will be effective after the 72 hour period for protest has expired.

2. Clemons, Rutherford and Associates, Inc.= 64.00

3. Rispoli & Associates Architecture, Inc. = 45.33

 

A committee consisting of the E911 and LMR System Coordinator, CCSO Chief of Services, and  Acting Fire Chief performed the evaluation and ranking. If desired, the Board may request presentations from all three (3) firms. Contract amount to be negotiated after award. Funding Source: 305-6110-562000

VIDEO4.Clay County School Board Request for Radio System Use and Draft Agreement (D. Hane)

1) Approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the School Board of Clay County, Florida for use of Clay County's Radio System, for a term of five years, with user fees to be decided by Clay County via three options presented to the School Board as follows: a) Option 1: Zero cost, b) Option 2: Subscriber/maintenance/operations cost @ $65,304.60 annually, c) Option 3: option 2 cost (inclusive) plus proportional infrastructure @ $174,504.60 annually.

 

2) Consideration of renewal terms. Purchasing Policy only provides for two one-year renewals while this Agreement stipulates two five-year renewals. The Purchasing Policy does provide that  upon approval by the Board, renewals beyond two one-year renewals can be considered if in the best interest of the County.

Approval of the Commercial Lease Agreement with Big Score Investors, LLC, c/o Colliers International Northeast Florida, for the purpose of leasing approximately 4,438 square feet located at unit 107 at 420 College Drive, Middleburg, Florida, for a term to begin upon substantial completion of the Landlord's improvements and receipt of a Certificate of Occupancy and expire 62 months later, with the County to pay the Landlord a monthly base rent as illustrated in Section 4 of the Lease Agreement.
