5.Standing Committee's Recommendation of Approval of Century Ambulance Service, Inc.'s Application for Renewal of its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Ambulance Service
The Clay County Department of Public Safety received an application for renewal from Century Ambulance Service, Inc., for a Class B, C and D Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. The application was presented to the designated Standing Committee on August 2, 2022, who heard the application and determined to recommend approval.
6.Finance Business
The Finance Department business is submitted to request approval and
ratification by the Board for various warrants and disbursements in order
to meet the requirements of Ch. 136.06 (1) FL Statute. Acceptance and
disposal of various Board property and various documents are submitted
for the Board's information. At times, approval is requested for various
finance related issues.

Approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the School Board of Clay County, Florida for use of Clay County's Radio System, for a term of five years with two 5 year renewals.

VIDEO11.Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Florida declaring and finding a certain geographic area in the City of Green Cove Springs, Florida to be slum or blighted; finding a need for the creation of a community redevelopment agency; delegating the exercise of certain powers to create a community redevelopment agency with the power to prepare and adopt a plan of redevelopment as conferred upon Clay County regarding community redevelopment within the incorporated limits of the City of Green Cove Springs to the City of Green Cove Springs in accordance with Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes; providing for no severability; and providing an effective date.

VIDEO12.Award of Bid No. 21/22-31, Monument Welcome Signage and Approval of Accompanying Agreement (K. Morgan)

Approval to post notice of intent and award of Bid No. 21/22-31, Monument Welcome Signage (Oakleaf Plantation Parkway and Wells Road) to West Central Signs Inc. d/b/a Signstar in the amount of $27,337.16. Approval will be effective after the 72 hour protest period has expired.  2) Additional approval of the accompanying agreement. These two sign projects must be completed by Oct. 10, 2022.
