The Finance Department business is submitted to request approval and
ratification by the Board for various warrants and disbursements in order
to meet the requirements of Ch. 136.06 (1) FL Statute. Acceptance and
disposal of various Board property and various documents are submitted
for the Board's information. At times, approval is requested for various
finance related issues.
8.RFP No. 22/23-42, TRIM Processing and Exemption Renewals (K. Smith)

Approval to accept staff's ranking and award to the top ranked Company Cathedral Corporation for RFP No. 22/23-42, TRIM Processing and Exemption Renewals.  Approval of the award will be effective after the 72 hour protest period has expired.

A committee consisting of Assessment Roll Coordinator for CCPA, Economic & Development Coordinator, and Senior HR/Finance Specialist for CCPA performed the evaluation and rank of the responses received.  If desired, the Board may request presentations from the companies.

9.Agreement with Advance Travel and Tourism for Tourism Advertising (K. Morgan)

Approval of Agreement with Advance Travel and Tourism, a division of Advance Local Media LLC, for Tourism Advertising at an annual cost not to exceed $253,000.00 beginning on June 9, 2023.  The term of the Agreement is three (3) years. The Agency will also provide an education program for residents and visitors in the amount of $100,000.00 for the first year.  Continuation of this service will be contingent on its success.  The Agreement allows for decreases or increases in cost and services based on budget and must be agreed upon in writing via an amendment.

TDC unanimously recommends award of a $35,000.00 TDC Sports Grant for Pro Watercross, June 3-4.

TDC unanimously recommends award of a $3,000.00 TDC Special Events Grant for Rock the Box- An Evening with Aaron Lewis.

11.Acceptance of Easement and Release of Easement in connection with property located at 2530 CR220 (R. Smith)

Approval of Budget Resolution in the amount of $50,000 from Petco Love Animal Welfare Organizations (AWO) Grant. These funds are to be used for the Animal Services Building. Funding Source: Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Projects Fund Revenue - Contributions/Donations
13.Budget Resolution Amending FY22/23 Budget (R. Kantor)

Approval of the following transfers by Resolution to amend the FY22/23 budget:

 

A) From Unincorporated MSTU Fund Reserve for Contingency to True-Up Planning Department's indirect costs with the final allocation plan.

 

B) From CIP Reserves for Capital Improvement to the Neptune Park project for additional site prep costs for the parking lot.
