The Finance Department business is submitted to request approval and
ratification by the Board for various warrants and disbursements in order
to meet the requirements of Ch. 136.06 (1) FL Statute. Acceptance and
disposal of various Board property and various documents are submitted
for the Board's information. At times, approval is requested for various
finance related issues.
5.RFQ No. 22/23-58, Sponsor/Developer For Building Affordable Housing Under The Clay County SHIP Program (K. Smith)

Approval to accept staff's ranking and recommendation to award RFQ No. 22/23-58, Sponsor/Developer for Building Affordable Housing Under the SHIP Program to both Clay County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. and Operation Lifeline, Inc.  Approval of the award will be effective after the 72 hour protest period has expired.

A committee consisting of the Development Services Director, SHIP Program Administrator, and Plans Examiner IV performed the evaluation and ranking of the responses received.  If desired, the Board may request presentations from the firms.

6.Agreement for Solid Waste Transfer Stations - Operation, Transport, and Disposal with Waste Management Inc. of Florida (M. Towns/K. Smith)

Approval of the Agreement for the Operation, Transport, and Disposal for Solid Waste Transfer Stations with Waste Management Inc. of Florida. Payment for services will be made in accordance with the applicable unit price and/or unit costs per ton as set forth in Attachment 3 of the Agreement.  Waste Management will provide to the County Scholarship and Sponsorship funds annually as further specified in the Agreement.  The initial term of the Agreement is October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2033.

Approval of the Sixth Amendment to Agreement No. 2020/2021-228 with GAI Consultants, Inc. for Professional Engineering Design Consultant Services for the Bonded Transportation Program Construction Management At Risk Group #1, Project 3B in the amount of $47,364.43.

13.Eighth Amendment to Agreement No. 2019/2020-196 with WGI, Inc. for Owner’s Representative Services for the Bonded Transportation Program (E. Dendor)

Approval of the Eighth Amendment to Agreement No. 2019/2020-196 with WGI, Inc. for Owner’s Representative Services for the Bonded Transportation Program in the amount of $119,658.61 for the construction of the Utility Work in accordance with the Interlocal Agreement between the County and Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA).
