VIDEO13.Technical Revisions - SHIP Program’s Local Housing Assistance Plan

Approval of the following two (2) technical revisions to the SHIP Program’s Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP). (C. Stewart/T. Sumner)

A.) Owner-Occupied Housing Strategy: This technical revision pertains to the “Maximum Award” allowed under the Owner-Occupied Housing Strategy. Florida Housing has requested that the County add the inspection fee and recording fee to the Maximum Award amount.

B.) Disaster Assistance Strategy: Changes to this strategy will provide rental and utility assistance for eligible applicants and will also provide mortgage and utility assistance to eligible homeowners affected during a declared state of emergency such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Airstream Ventures is submitting a bid for the Sunshine State Games 2021, 2022 and 2023 and is requesting a letter of support from the county.  A draft letter from the County Manager is attached for approval.
