VIDEO5.Amended Resolution of the School Board of Clay County, Florida, calling for a referendum election to be held at the General Election on November 3, 2020, to determine if the electors in the School District of Clay County, Florida, approve the levy by the School Board of Clay County of a one-half cent per dollar sales surtax. Amendment is necessary to comply with new Florida law requiring a statement in the resolution that the School Board must share sales surtax proceeds with eligible charter schools based on their proportionate share of total district enrollment

Approval of the add-on quote to Agreement No. 98/99-99 with Superion, LLC, A CentralSquare Company, for One Solution CAD Migration Services. Approval as Sole Source vendor, advance payment and waiver of the Purchasing Policy as it may apply is also requested. The term of the agreement is for one year in the amount of $9,760.00.  Funding Source: 133-2108-546100 (911 Repairs and Maintenance)
VIDEO8.Florida Division of Emergency Management MOA_COVID-19 Hurricane Prep Generator

Approval of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Florida Division of Emergency Management regarding State owned generators.  Additional approval to waive the Purchasing Policy as it may apply is requested. The term of the MOA is 19 years from June 1, 2020 or the date the unit is no longer serviceable, whichever comes first.  Funding Source: Not Applicable

VIDEO9.Donation of Park Amenity

Fleming Island Lacrosse is requesting Board approval to donate an Outdoor Field Containment System (Lacrosse Box) to be installed at Thunderbolt Park on Radar Road. This amenity would become the property of the County to schedule, rent and maintain.

The Wood Development Company of Jacksonville (Wood Development) has submitted to the Board a petition (the Petition) to establish the Sandridge Community Development District (the SCDD) within a 290.50-acre tract situated solely within unincorporated Clay County.

Based upon the evidence offered by Wood Development and any other evidence that may be offered by staff or interested third parties, the Board will make the determination whether to grant the petition. If the Board grants the petition, then the second step is to consider an ordinance, the effect of which will be to create the SCDD. A public hearing to consider the adoption of such an ordinance has been scheduled immediately following the hearing on the Petition. (See attached documentation for additional information.)

A copy of the proposed ordinance is attached that, if adopted, would establish the Sandridge Community Development District. This public hearing on the ordinance will immediately follow the hearing scheduled on the petition filed by The Wood Development Company of Jacksonville to establish the CDD.
