| DATE: 8/31/2021 | | | | | FROM: Administrative and Contractual Services | | | | | | SUBJECT: Approval of the Memorandum of Agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), for boating access projects, for an effective term of 20 years. The County will be responsible for maintenance of projects after completion using Florida Boating Improvement Fund.

| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | | The County has received notification that the FWC has available labor, equipment and materials to construct new, improve existing and maintain boat access projects in Clay County. FWC agrees to perform all structural maintenance and improvements to the County's boat access sites as may be necessary during the term of this agreement. The County's boat access sites are Shands Fishing Pier & Boat Ramp, Lake Brooklyn Boat Ramp, Middleburg Boat Ramp, Old Ferry Boat Ramp, Knight's Boat Ramp, Governor's Creek Boat Ramp and Williams Park Boat Ramp. |
