SUBJECT:

Approval to accept staff's ranking and select the number one ranked firm, Applied Research Associates for RFQ #20/21-51, Clay County Pavement Assessment. Approval will be effective after the 72 hour period for protest has expired.

 

1.  Applied Research Associates = 88.33

2.  Transmap Corporation = 81.66

3.  Eisman & Russo, Inc. = 81

4.  Pennoni Associates, Inc. = 65

 

A committee consisting of the Public Works Director, Engineering Director, and Development Services Director has performed the evaluation and ranking.  If desired, the Board may request presentations from the firms. 

 

After award, staff will begin contract negotiations and determine proper funding source.

RFQ provides a pavement condition survey and pavement management program for 795 miles of paved County roads to determine priorities and optimal time of maintenance to economically manage the roadway system.  The RFQ invitations were sent to 48 firms.
