| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | The applicant is requesting to amend the landscape code in order to not require trees between like residential uses where the perimeter boundaries are conterminous. Section 6-8(5)(d) states that where uses are similar, canopy tree plantings are required no less than 50' apart within 10' of the property line. The applicant will demonstrate why this is not a good practice to follow and staff would add that enfocement of these trees, once planted, can be problematic. |
