| DATE: 6/23/2016 | | | | | FROM: Lorin Mock | | | | | | SUBJECT: Approval of Budget Resolution in the amount of $175,000.00 to record unanticipated revenue from the State of Florida, Department of Health for the award of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Matching Grant and the divisional budget transfer for the County's match requirement of $58,333.00, for a total budget of $233,333.00. Theses funds are to be used by the Emergency Medical Services division for the purchase of cardiac monitors.

| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND INFORMATION: | The BCC approved the participation in applying for the State of Florida, Department of Health's Emergency Medical Services Matching Grant. The approved award is for a total of $233,333.00, with $175,000.00 being received from the State of Florida, Department of Health and $58,333.00 being funded with matching funds from the County. The matching portion has been budgeted in FY 15/16, however in order to track compliance, it is necessary to move the funds to the grant with a divisional transfer request. |
